NBA Betting Picks for 3/23/22 Banker and Parlay

By @SpreadAstaire

The NBA is back in full effect tonight with 11 games on the schedule. With the season 88% completed, teams are making their final playoff push. I have gone over the NBA odds, run the numbers, and I found the winning Banker and 2 team parlay.

Phoenix Suns vs Minnesota Timberwolves

The Phoenix Suns have the best record in the league at 58-14. More importantly for tonight, they have the best road record in the league at 28-6. The Suns have won 5 in a row. The Suns are 8-2 in the last 10 and have a point differential of +8.4 on the year.

Even getting hit with injuries, the Suns are still able to win. Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, and Chris Paul are all game-time decisions for tonight’s game.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are making a hard charge up the Western Conference standings. They recently made it to 6th place, which would help them avoid the play-in tournament. The Timberwolves have won four of their last five and are 8-2 in their last 10. The Timberwolves are 24-12 at home on the year and their point differential is +3.4.

I like the Phoenix Suns to continue their road dominance. Simply put, even with the injuries, the Suns are the best team in the league. Coach Monty Williams has his team playing well. Devin Booker gives the Suns the halfcourt playmaking to be able to score against even the best of defenses. The Minnesota Timberwolves are a great story of a franchise heading in the right direction, but they’re not ready to take on the class of the West yet. Tonight’s Banker is the Phoenix Suns ML.

2-Team Parlay

Utah Jazz vs Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics have been the best team in the NBA since January 1st. The Celtics starters have the highest net rating of any group of five players in the NBA. The Boston Celtics have one of the best defenses in the league. The Celtics are first in points again at 103.8. The Boston Celtics are 9-1 in their last 10 and have a point differential +6.4.

The Utah Jazz are 19-16 on the road this year. They are 6-4 in the last 10 and have a point differential +6.6. The Jazz have been struggling with injuries in the last week but the only big-name on this injury report is Bojan Bogdanovic, who will be a game-time decision. The Jazz are jockeying with the Mavericks for fourth place in the West and need wins to keep the hard-charging Mavericks off their tail.

I like the Celtics to continue their streak of dominance. In their last four games, their margin of victory was by an average of 20 points. The Celtics aren’t simply winning, they’re blowing their opponents away. I will continue to back the Celtics team until they show signs of slipping, which doesn’t appear to be anytime soon. The first half of the two-team parlay is Boston Celtics -5.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Brooklyn Nets

The Memphis Grizzlies will be without Ja Morant when they face Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving tonight. The Grizzlies have navigated life without Morant before. The Grizzlies are 14-2 without Morant in the lineup this season. This shows how deep the Grizzlies are, their commitment to team basketball, and the excellent coaching job that Taylor Jenkins has done.

It’s tough to go against the Nets on the road because rested Kyrie Irving can be dangerous. However Dillon Brooks will be one of the toughest match ups that Kyrie has had to face since his return. It’s a hard bet to make, but the Grizzlies are the right play here. The 2nd half of the 2 team parlay is the Memphis Grizzlies ML.

Parlay: Boston Celtics -5/Memphis Grizzlies ML at +265 (3.65) at BetUS
