We cashed our third straight Banker last evening. Let’s keep the winning ways going. We only have 2 games to choose from, but that’s plenty to find a winning NBA Banker and 2 team parlay.
Golden State Warriors vs. Denver Nuggets
The Golden State Warriors were able to end their five-game losing streak on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. It was a lethargic performance from the Clippers, and the Warriors were able to take advantage. The losing streak had dropped the Warriors into third place. The Warriors fell in the standings after going 3-7 in their last 10 games. The Warriors are looking to get some wins before the return of Draymond Green. They don’t want to fall too far before they return to full strength.
The Denver Nuggets have navigated injury better than any team in the NBA this season. Despite losing their second and third best players, the Nuggets are 39-26, good for sixth place in the Western Conference. The Nuggets have been playing excellent basketball. The Nuggets are 9-1 in their last 10 games. The Nuggets bring a three-game win streak into tonight’s game.
I like the Nuggets to get it done here tonight. We have a nice situational spot for the Nuggets. The Nuggets are very good at home and the Warriors are not the same team on the road. It will be a weird situation for the Warriors and Steph Curry to not have the best player on the floor, for that will be Nikola Jokic tonight. The Warriors run a small lineup and will have problems going against the reigning MVP. The Warriors don’t have the players to match Jokic’s size. I like the Nuggets on the money line, but I will also take the spread for safety. Today’s Banker is the Denver Nuggets +3.5.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Philadelphia 76ers
This will be the first meeting between the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers since the blockbuster trade of Ben Simmons for James Harden. It is safe to say tensions will be high. This will be a true grudge match. There is plenty of animosity on both sides on how each player left their respective organizations. This game will definitely have a playoff atmosphere. Both teams will be trying their best to win, no matter the cost.
I like the Brooklyn Nets to keep this game close. Kyrie Irving showed how devastating he can be with his 50-point outburst on only 19 shots against Charlotte. Kevin Durant will still be the best player on the floor, regardless of how well Joel Embiid is playing this year. The first half of the two-team parlay is the Brooklyn Nets +4.5.
Because of the emotional nature of this game, I do expect the players to be tight and nervous to come out tonight. I do expect the defensive intensity to be at a playoff level. For this reason, we will add the Under to the parley. Both teams will be eager to prove their dominance and this will result in a slower-paced, more physical game. For this reason, the second half of the two-team parlay is the Brooklyn Nets/Philadelphia 76ers Under 222.5.
