NBA Betting Picks for 3/2/22 Banker and Parlay

By @SpreadAstaire

We’ve cashed both Bankers so far this week, can we make it three in a row? The NBA has an eight-game slate for us to choose from tonight. Let’s take a look at the best games for us to find the winning Banker and 2 team parlay

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets

The Oklahoma City Thunder are only 19-42 on the year. However, they have the second-best record ATS in the league at 36-21. That’s a 63% cover percentage. How is a team that is so bad so good ATS? Because they’re constantly catching double-digit points of NBA odds. This is the case tonight as they are at +13.5 against one of the hottest teams in the NBA, the Denver Nuggets.

The Nuggets have won six games in a row following a 32 point win over the Portland Trail Blazers. In spite of all their injuries, the Nuggets are just 3.5 games out of fourth place, which would give them home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The Nuggets have yet to lose since adding DeMarcus Cousins. Cousins gives the Nuggets the ability to still score and run their offense through a big man when Nikola Jokic is on the bench.

Regardless of the Nuggets’ current hot streak, I believe the high points of NBA odds are too much. Because the Thunder don’t win straight up very often, they are constantly overlooked by the oddsmakers. Once again, this is an opportunity to take one of the Best Bets in the NBA this year. Tonight’s Banker is the Oklahoma City Thunder +13.5.

2 Team Parlay

New Orleans Pelicans vs Sacramento Kings

The New Orleans Pelicans have played great since the All-Star break. To start, they got a 15-point win over the first-place Phoenix Suns. They then followed it up with a 28-point victory in Los Angeles over the Lakers. Now they head home to take on a team that is fighting for their spot in the Play-In race, the Sacramento Kings.

The Sacramento Kings are definitely trying to make a move to win now by adding All-Star forward Domantas Sabonis. So far Sabonis has played excellently, but the Kings have still been losing. They were able to beat Oklahoma City in their most recent game, but they have struggled against playoff-caliber teams. They face a tough task tonight against the Pelicans team that is coming together after the addition of CJ McCollum.

I like the New Orleans Pelicans to get the win and cover the spread tonight. Sacramento struggles on the road and once again this will be evident tonight. After his debut game in which McCollum struggled to fit in, he has been playing excellently and provides a veteran secondary scoring option to take the pressure off Brandon Ingram. The first half of the two-team parlay is the New Orleans Pelicans -5.

Philadelphia 76ers vs New York Knicks

The Philadelphia 76ers absolutely smashed the New York Knicks in New York on Sunday. But as we saw with the Raptors and the Nets yesterday, these games don’t always play out in the same exact fashion. I do believe the Knicks will have the opportunity to get back here tonight. The Knicks were the victim of a very liberal whistle and I believe that the refs will be more conservative blowing the whistle tonight. The Knicks are getting double digits of NBA odds & even though they might not win, I do believe they keep it close and give forth a respectable performance. The second half of the two-team parlay is the New York Knicks +10.5.
