The NBA has its biggest Tuesday night slate of the year tonight. 10 games are in the National Basketball Association waiting to be broken down. I’ve done the work to find the winning Banker and 2-team parlay.
Milwaukee Bucks vs Los Angeles Lakers
The Milwaukee Bucks have started this road trip with a bang. The Bucks are 2-0 on the trip so far. The Bucks have a 29-point win over the Blazers and followed that up with a 24-point win over the Clippers. They look to continue the streak tonight in Los Angeles against the Lakers team that they have beaten once already this season, by 7 points in Milwaukee in November.
The Lakers should present the Bucks their toughest challenge of the trip so far. With Anthony Davis and LeBron James back in the lineup, the Lakers are finally beginning to look like the championship-caliber team that they assembled in the off-season. Davis and James have not played together often this season but when they have the results have been good. James is currently on an excellent scoring streak. James has scored at least 25 points in his last 19 games.
The Bucks are still the more complete team here and they seemed focused on this road trip. Giannis Antetokounmpo spoke about his team being focused while other teams are struggling with the grind of the regular season. Giannis has his eyes set on the number one seed in the East, and these are the games the Bucks are going to have to win to reclaim the top spot in the East. The Bucks match up very well with the Lakers. They have the length and athleticism to slow down the Lakers’ two big men. Plus, they have a much more solid bench, and everyone has clearly defined roles. While the Lakers have to worry about Russell Westbrook freelancing, everyone on the Bucks knows what is expected of them. I think the Bucks continue their dynamic road trip and cover the NBA odds. Today’s Banker is the Milwaukee Bucks -3.5.
Houston Rockets vs New Orleans Pelicans
The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Houston Rockets on Sunday night 121-107. Now the Rockets get a chance to avenge their loss as they meet again in New Orleans tonight. So far this season these teams have split their meetings, with the Rockets getting the win over New Orleans in December. Brandon Ingram has torched the Rockets this season averaging 36.5 points in the two games they played
Pelicans are on a three-game win streak. There are 7-3 in the last 10 games they have played with Ingram in the lineup. However, this is a lot of points to be laying, even at home against a very bad basketball team. I know the Rockets have a weak defense, but they also have talented scorers and should be able to keep the pace up with the New Orleans Pelicans. Due to the Pelicans’ recent success, the line had moved too far. The first half of the two-team parlay is the Houston Rockets +9.
Phoenix Suns vs Philadelphia 76ers
The Phoenix Suns are coming off a win over the Chicago Bulls when they dominated for most of the game but blew the cover against the spread at the very last minute. Now they go to Philadelphia to take on a team that has been playing better as of late, even with trade rumors swirling around them. The Suns are 21-5 on the road and have the League’s best ATS road record as well. While the Suns failed to cover last night, I do believe they will get the job done tonight. I think the Sixers are going to have problems answering Devin Booker. Deandre Ayton is a good defender to try to match up with Joel Embiid. The second half of the 2-team parlay is the Phoenix Suns +1.
