NBA Betting Picks for 1/31/22 Banker and Parlay

By @SpreadAstaire

We have an 8-game schedule in the NBA tonight, plenty of games to find the winning Banker and 2-team parlay. Let’s dive in!

Sacramento Kings vs New York Knicks

The Sacramento Kings are in the midst of an absolutely embarrassing road trip and I’m on board for fading them the whole way. We get the Knicks in a good spot tonight coming off a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Knicks struggles this season are derived from the roster.  It is not that talented and rather poorly put together. But one thing you can always count on with the Knicks is that they will give good effort.

That is not the same for the Sacramento Kings who can completely check out at times, especially when facing a big deficit. This team is tired mentally and physically. This will be the last of a five-game road trip for the Kings. The Kings have lost every game so far during this trip. The Kings have only covered the NBA odds once in the four losses.

The Kings will likely be without their leading scorer De’Aaron Fox tonight. While we like to buy low and sell high, we must also time it correctly. I believe the time to buy on the Kings will be their second game back after this road trip. They will probably be a fade on their first game back as they will still be dealing with fatigue. This team can play better than it looks but right now they are what the record says they are, very bad. Today’s Banker is the New York Knicks -5.

2-Team Parlay

Toronto Raptors vs Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks are finally living up to their potential. They have won seven games in a row. On Sunday, they defeated Los Angeles Lakers 129–121. They currently have the longest winning streak in the Eastern Conference. Today they play a very tired Toronto Raptors team. The Raptors went to triple overtime on Saturday night against the Heat. Each member of their starting lineup played at least 53 minutes.

I’m going to take the red-hot Atlanta Hawks against the tired Toronto Raptors team. The Hawks are not the team that you want to play when you’re fatigued as they get up and down the floor. The Hawks have also keyed in on the defensive end and will not be giving up points like they were earlier this season. I’m going to ride the streak with the Atlanta Hawks. The first half of the two-team parlay at the Atlanta Hawks -2.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Philadelphia 76ers

The Memphis Grizzlies have one win this season over the 76ers. They dominated in a 126-91 victory in December. I expect tonight’s game to be closer but I would not be surprised to see Memphis come out on top again. Memphis has a good answer for Joel Embiid in Steven Adams. While no one can stop Embiid, Adams is one of the few players in the NBA that is stronger than him. Adans will not just cede post position to Embiid like other players often do. If you have the ability to slow down Embiid, the Sixers offense becomes quite one-dimensional.

Memphis is one of the best teams in the league and I mean “team”! The Sixers have won 14 of their last 17 games, but it is all predicated around one player. The Memphis Grizzlies have the ability to beat you in multiple ways. I like the Memphis Grizzlies to at least cover the NBA odds of 4 points here in what I expect to be a close game. The second half of the two-team parlay is Memphis Grizzlies +4.

Parlay: Atlanta Hawks -2/Memphis Grizzlies +4 at +265 (3.65) at BetUS
