NFL Week 9 Top Betting Picks and Predictions

New York Jets vs. Indianapolis Colts

Hello everyone, welcome to our NFL Week 9 picks here at BetWithUS and thank you for being part of
our team. As usual we start with Thursday Night Football as the Colts host the Jets as 10.5-point
favorites. Although the Colts are the better team in my opinion, im still not comfortable laying this
many points on a short week given all of the Colts struggles in the secondary. The Jets come in riding
high after a huge win over the Bengals behind Mike Whites incredible debut. The Colts have a great
front 7 but are being torched in the secondary and for that reason I’m not going to worry about covering
any spreads and focus on the Jets team total inside of the dome in Indianapolis. If Mike White can play
well again, I see the Jets being able to score here through the passing game against a Colts Defense
allowing the 8th most fantasy points to wide outs and 10th most to quarterbacks.

My Pick- Jets team total over 16.5 pts at -130

Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers

For our second play this week lets head to Sunday and talk about the second game of the season
between the Cardinals and the 49ers. Kyler Murray took a huge shot at the end of last Thursday’s game
but has had extra time to heal and appears poised to play. Bottom line for me here is that mobile
quarterbacks give this 49ers defense fits and injuries to the secondary have left them very vulnerable to
the pass. Again, I’m not worried about who wins or loses this game or covering a spread. I expect the
Cardinals to be able to take advantage of the injuries to the 49ers secondary and throw the ball all over
the place. For that reason, I’m going to rely on points from the road team here and focus on a very
manageable team total at a good price.

My Pick- Cardinals team total over 23.5 pts at -115

Buffalo Bills vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

For our third and final game this week we are going to head out to Jacksonville where the Jags host the
AFC leading Bills. Look, I’m not a big proponent of ever betting double digit favorites on the road but this
matchup is the exception to the rule. The Jaguars are absolutely terrible at every facet of the game and
now have lost leading running back and best offensive weapon James Robinson for at least this week
and maybe beyond. The Bills meanwhile boast one of the league’s best defenses to go along with a
high-powered offense that should face very little opposition from and overmatched and under talented
Jags defense. Breaking my own rule here but the matchup is just to cut and dry for me to pass up. For
that reason, I’m rolling with the heavy road favorite here.

My Pick- Bills -14.5 at -110
