NBA Betting Picks for 10/26/21 Banker and Parlay

By @SpreadAstaire

With five games in the NBA on a Tuesday night, there are plenty of options for us to attack!
Let’s look at the best options for our Banker and 2 Team Parlay

Houston Rockets vs. Dallas Mavericks

Houston Rockets are in the middle of a rebuild but have packed their roster with young talented
scorers. The Dallas Mavericks are retooling their team to make a proper playoff push under new
head coach Jason Kidd. The Maverick transition under Kidd has been anything but smooth so
far. The players are struggling in understanding their roles and rotations. This team is still
entirely too dependent on Luka Doncic. Luka is almost certain to have a good performance. Yet
the key factor in the Mavericks’ results usually is determined by how much help Luka can get
from his supporting cast. The Mavericks are still trying to figure out who is the clear number two
option on the offensive end. Kristaps Porzingis and Tim Hardaway Jr currently alternate, but
until a clear pecking order is established, the Mavericks will still struggle with inconsistency.

The NBA odds are undervalued on the Houston Rockets in this game. The Rockets should be
around 7-point underdogs and instead are laying 11 to a Dallas team still working to find their
identity. The Mavericks will be a strong team for the playoffs and the Rockets will most likely be
in the lottery this year, but this early in the season, the Houston Rockets are the play.

Banker: Houston Rockets +11 at -110 (1.91)

2-Team Parlay

Denver Nuggets vs. Utah Jazz

The Nuggets aren’t very good on the road and the Jazz are impeccable at home. That is the
only reason I can find for this line to be inflated so high. The Denver Nuggets are off to a great
start and are legitimate contenders to make the Western Conference Finals. Denver has the
reigning MVP Nikola Jokic. Michael Porter Jr and Will Barton are finally healthy. This squad has
a pep in their step compared to the way they limped into the end of the season.

The Utah Jazz are off to a strong start. The Jazz return with most of their roster which had the
best record in the NBA last season. They boast the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Rudy
Gobert. Donovan Mitchell ended last season playing on a sprained ankle but is fully healthy
now. The Jazz are excellent defensively and shoot a high percentage from 3-point range.

This should be a very close game and should be lined at 5 points. 7.5 gives us 2.5 points of line
value. The Denver team is undervalued because they were so beat up at the end of the year

they left bettors and observers with a bad taste. However, this fully healthy Denver squad can
compete and has a chance to win outright. Take the points. Take the Nuggets.

Houston Rockets vs. Dallas Mavericks

We are back to this game, and we are targeting the total for the parlay. The total was placed at
220.5 and I think the high-scoring Rockets offense will do its part. The ineffective Rockets
defense will also do their part, allowing Dallas to put up points as well. The Rockets have a
great offense and a terrible defense which gives us a tasty recipe for an over. We discussed the
game above but for a bonus value, we will throw the over into this parlay.

2-Team Parlay: Nuggets + 7.5/Rockets vs Mavericks Over 220.5 at +267 (3.67)
