College Football Week 7 Two-Team Parlay: Preview and Top Betting Picks

By The Prophet

Miami (FL) vs. North Carolina

My first leg of this week’s parlay is going to be North Carolina ML at -280. I’ll almost certainly be on the Tar Heels minus the points as well here which currently sit at -7, but the value on the ML just seems absurd to me given the circumstances surrounding this matchup.

D’Eriq King, Miami’s QB1 and all-around best player (and Heisman candidate) has just been officially ruled out for the season with shoulder surgery. That leaves the starting QB duties to freshman Tyler Van Dyke. Van Dyke may have some potential but has seemed a little in over his head against FBS competition this year completing just 51.9% of his passes against Virginia, who by the way doesn’t have a great defense (91st in FBS).

Going into Chapel Hill against a talented UNC team that needs a big win at home will be way too much for Van Dyke in my opinion. Look for UNC to bounce back in a big way in a favorable matchup here by several scores.

Michigan State vs. Indiana

We’re going to get the dogs barking on our second leg! I’m rolling with Indiana ML at +160 odds. I had this one written down on my short list before I saw the odds, to me this line SCREAMS Indiana outright win at home, and I think it’s a sneaky good matchup for the Hoosiers.

Indiana has kind of been swept under the rug by most football followers this season after a 2-3 start. But their three losses have come to #2 Iowa, #3 Cincinnati and #7 Penn State, two of which were on the road. Meanwhile, Michigan State rolls in (6-0) and #10 in the AP Poll.

However, the Spartans don’t have a win against a team with a winning record on their schedule with their best win probably coming at home vs Nebraska (3-4). This will be Michigan State’s first true test on the road against an Indiana team that will be up for this game and confident in their own ability to pull the “upset”. I’m all over it!

Parlay: North Carolina ML + Indiana ML for +255
